The first and most important teachers of every child are their parents. At ACS we recognize that parents have the primary responsibility for the education of their children. The school comes alongside to support that ministry and provide knowledge and skills that most parents don't have. Nevertheless, we do not seek to supplant the role of parents but to supplement it. Parents are encouraged to work with teachers to provide the best educational experience for their children. Parents have opportunities to influence the direction of the school through serving on a variety of committees. Parents also have a responsibility to support the ministry of the school through prayer and giving. As home and school work together, students get to experience the best of both worlds.
